Diagnosis
Female scape yellowish-brown; flagellum short with prominent longitudinal sensillae; mesoscutum and scutellum dark metallic bluish-green, mesoscutum with raised and rather strong reticulation, scutellum with engraved and weak reticulation; femora dark brown; female gaster short with a very large 1st tergite, 0.8X as long as length of gaster, first tergite with fine round punctures in posterior ½. Similar to sensillifer but with larger 1st gastral tergite and with fine punctures on same tergite.

From Deuterollyta zetilla (Druce) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) on avocado (Persea americana) (Lauraceae).
